Man Points Firework at His Face, Says”I Didn’t Think It Would Hurt That Bad”. Then see what happened To Him After all

A wannabe YouTuber named Zac from Decatur, Indiana convinced his friends to film him shooting himself in the face with fireworks and was then surprised when the explosion hurt him.

“I’m going to play Russian roulette,” Zac says to the camera before donning a pair of swim goggles.

Because, clearly safety is the first priority and swim goggles are the perfect protection from fireworks.

His friends are cheering him on while saying the googles look “completely f***ed up” and encouraging him to go through with his game.

“I’m going to play Russian roulette with a Roman Candle,” he says to the camera again while the cameraman gives him the advice to “remember to point it away”.

Instead Zac has a friend light the fuse and then plants the firework under his chin as it begins to sizzle off.

Then, as you would expect when you light the fuse, the firework goes off, hitting him square in the face.

There’s a guttural “ugh” as Zac reels from the impact, light, smoke, and pain, dropping the roman candle to the ground.

So much for safety first.

A very shaky Zac, covered in powder, smoke, and blood comes over to the cameraman and asks “how bad was that”.

The cameraman assures him it was “really good” but adds that he is “definitely bleeding”.

When Zac asks “how bad”, the cameraman simply says, “pretty bad.”

After thnking about it for just a moment, Zac suggests they should go to the emergency room to “see what they think” because his “whole f***ing face hurts”.

He tells his friends the explosion was “brutal” and that his whole head hurts from the blast. He added that “this is the craziest thing I’ve done in a long time.”

The hospital shaved part of Zac’s sort of beard and gave him five stitches for the effort.

“I didn’t think it was going to hurt that bad,” he tells the camera while moaning in pain.
